How wonderful that you found us! We are Fleur, Sander and Jetje and we are happy to invite you to Thuisje van Hout (" Little home made of wood").

Step inside our cosy Tiny House and leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind. Here everything revolves around relaxing and enjoying. Thuisje van Hout offers a wonderfully quiet place to relax, with plenty of activities in the vicinity.

Our tiny house, which we have furnished with heart, is the ideal place to completely unwind or go out and explore. Visit the recreational lake Nijstrand, take a cultural trip to the vibrant city of Zwolle or discover the beautiful nature reserves on foot or by bike. Don't feel like going too far away from Thuisje van Hout? At the pleasant campsite you can take a dip in the pool or have a bite to eat at the restaurant. Had enough adventure? Flop down on the covered veranda with a good read, or lean back in the hammock and... Enjoy!

Facilities & Layout of our Tiny House
Thuisje van Hout is furnished for 4 people - but can also sleep 6 people - and has everything you need for a carefree stay:
• Living room: Cozy furnished with a comfortable couch to flop down on. The large patio doors provide fresh air and bring the inside and outside together. Underfloor heating throughout the house makes cold days extra cozy. In the evening, you can play one of the board games at the table or watch a series on the flat-screen TV.
• Kitchen: A bright open kitchen with a 4-burner stove, refrigerator, espresso machine, combination microwave, kettle and sufficient crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. You can leave your garlic press, lemon zest and good knives at home; this kitchen is truly complete. Enjoy a nice drink at the adjoining dining table while you prepare the meal together!
• Bedrooms: Two bedrooms on the ground floor - one with a double bed (140x200) and one with a nice bunk bed (70x200). Or do you prefer the mezzanine with its cozy double bed (160x220)?
• Bathroom: Modern bathroom with a nice shower, sink and toilet.

Enjoy the outdoors
Thuisje van Hout is wonderfully cozy inside, but as soon as possible we live outside here.
The spacious and fenced plot of +-160m2 is fully furnished with
• A comfortable lounge set (4 people) and garden table (6 people).
• A hanging chair and a hammock for ultimate relaxation.
• A trampoline for the children.
Even during a rain shower, you can still enjoy the fresh air on the lovely, covered veranda of 14m2.

Good to know: in addition to beautiful laurel bushes that offer privacy, the garden also has a complete fence of 100 cm high, so that your dog can safely run free.

From Thuisje van Hout you can go in all directions:
• Recreational lake Nijstrand: A place to swim, sunbathe or do water sports.
• Zwolle/Meppel/Hoogeveen: Enjoy a day full of culture, shopping and culinary surprises.
• Nature reserves: Start a cycling or walking tour directly from the campsite.
• Sauna Thermen Zuidwolde: Relax completely in a luxurious sauna.
• Dinoland / Wildlands Zoo / Slagharen amusement park: unforgettable days out for the children within half an hour's drive.
• Restaurants in the vicinity at various culinary levels; from snack bar to 2 Michelin stars. ________________________________________
Practical additional information
• Smoking is not allowed inside.
• There are a total of 6 sleeping places, but the house is furnished for 4 people (for example a dining table or sitting area for 4). Would you still like to stay with 6 people? This is possible for a small additional charge of € 25 per extra guest per night.
• The double bed downstairs has two single mattresses and two separate duvets. The double bed on the mezzanine has a double mattress and a large duvet. The bunk bed has single mattresses and duvets. A sleeping place for everyone to their liking!
• The mezzanine cannot be completely darkened.
• The bedrooms and mezzanine have a tilt window with mosquito net.
• Free WiFi available (for regular use; streaming or downloading large files is not possible)
• The TV only offers access to streaming services that you can use via hotspot on your own phone. You do not have access to television channels.
• 1 small or medium-sized dog allowed for an additional charge.
• Please note: the house is cleaned thoroughly, but this house is not suitable for people with a (severe) allergy to dogs.
• You can use the washing machine and dryer at the campsite. These work with coins/coins.
• Additional facilities that are available: high chair, drying rack, barbecue, basic kitchen supplies such as pepper, salt and olive oil and cleaning supplies. (Please note: there is no room in the bedrooms to place an extra cot/playpen, this is possible in the living room, but it cannot be completely darkened.)
• The car can be parked in the general parking lot, where there is also room for a few electric vehicles.
